 Commerce Energy is committed to providing quality group health and welfare benefits to all employees at affordable prices. In this day and age, healthcare benefits are an important consideration when joining a company. We offer a comprehensive list of benefits, some of which are 100% paid for by Commerce Energy. Benefits are available to all eligible employees. As an employee of Commerce Energy Group, Inc. you are eligible to enroll in benefits once you have completed your waiting period. Medical Plan - California employees have a choice of either an HMO or POS plan. Outside of California, only the POS plan is currently available. Dental Plan - All employees have a choice of either a DHMO or PPO plan, whether they are residents of California or residents of our other office locations. Vision Care - The Company provides employee coverage. Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Disability - The Company provides coverage equal to 100% of an employee's annual pay up to a maximum of $250,000. Voluntary Life - Additional coverage may be purchased. Short-Term Disability (STD) – This income replacement benefit is paid for by the Company and is available to all eligible employees working outside of the state of California. For employees in California, State Disability Insurance through California’s EDD is available. Long-Term Disability (LTD) - The Company provides partial coverage in the event of illness or injury. 401(K) Plan - The Company matches $.50 for every $1.00 you contribute up to a maximum of 3% of your compensation. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - EAP is designed to help employees and their families with a wide range of personal problems by providing support, resources and outside assistance 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-per-year. Paid Vacation - Full-time employees accrue up to 10 days per year. Directors and above accrue 15 days per year. Holidays – The Company observes 10 holidays per year. Paid Sick Leave - Eligible employees can accrue up to six (6) days per year. Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) - After completing six (6) months of service, employees are eligible to purchase company stock at a 15% discount below market price.
